Hey, are you and/or your friends/family members tabletop wargamers? Ever noticed how expensive terrain (especially houses, bunkers, towers, etc.) can be? There could be quality wooden terrain an average wargamer could easily afford, you know.
I've got lots of ideas and even managed to get some prototypes ready. However, I lack funding to start my own company, buy the needed equipment (computer, laser engraver, initial materials, etc.) and begin manufacturing.
Since price is a huge factor here, not only would the models be cheaper than existing ones to start with, they would also be shipped unassambled to keep the shipping costs down and decrease the total price even more.
Like reading books? Maybe you own a bookstore? How would you like to have nice, high-quality wooden bookmarks made just for you? Guess what, the equipment I need to make wargaming models can also be used to make custom wooden bookmarks and much, much more!
As for my background and qualification, I'm an aeronautical engineering graduate student hoping to start my own company. For the last couple of years I've been designing wooden models (eg. weather houses, solar powered decorative mills, airplane models, ...) for others.
I got my idea for the company after a group of my friends and their freinds told me the models I've designed could be used for tabletop wargaming and thus make tabletop gaming more affordable. Also, I've noticed people often buy low-quality paper bookmarks because most wooden bookmarks are too expensive for them.
By helping me out you won't only get that awsome feeling of doing something good for others but you'll also get a gift to show how much I appreciate your help!
