Indoor Vertical Farm

Fetzer Farms will bring local markets and restaurants the highest quality leafy greens and herbs year round by utilizing vertical farming with hydroponics and the Kind X80 Vegetative Bar light. A test unit is already two weeks into a grow cycle for various types of lettuce and more lights are on order from Kind LED to initiate more test units. As I outfit over 1100 sq. ft that I already own for a lab like set up into four separate grow rooms with four different atmosphere possibilities. Utilizing my professional experience with electronics and automation, each room will be closely monitored to keep the perfect conditions for any plant. Also, LED technology allows us to grow cool and green not needing extra fans. Hydroponics minimizes how much water is needed to grow large crops. Both together speed up growth and maximize nutritional value. Growing indoors provides year round produce and reliability, knowing we will never use herbicides or pesticides.
