Campaign Story
Our daughter will be turning 18 soon, and unlike most other kids her age, she won't be going off to school or moving out.
E.C. was born with an extremely rare genetic disorder which means she can't live entirely on her own.
This campaign will help us build an apartment on our property where she can have her independence as well as the security of having family within close reach, and in a place that would not expose her to the risks of abuse found at a group home or residential facility for the developmentally disabled.
Thank you for helping give her a safe place to live and to be a grown up.
