An independent life with a Powerchair

Hello, my name is Aaron and I'm a disabled 31 year old.  I am trying to increase my ability to work and be independent, but my current wheelchair is an old self powered piece of junk that I had to buy well used on Ebay. I've looked after it carefully but it is rapidly reaching the end of it's long life. I am trying to buy a Powerchair like the one in the photo. They cost around £5,000+ for the really good ones, and I've only managed to save up £400 in over a year which is so frustrating. Why a Powerchair? Due to severe worsening of my condition I often need others to move me around manually so a Powerchair would make all the difference as I could be independent in my life & work. The NHS insist that I be pushed by others when needed but as I'm sure you can appreciate this is not always possible and having to pay carers to push me is overall much more expensive than a Powerchair would be, not to mention impractical in the workplace. Thank for you for reading and God bless you for any prayers or donations you can offer. I know I'll get there eventually!
