Five years ago when we discovered that my mother is Diabetic. Then she take medication for that, and recently we found out that she always have blood discharge that we think it’s just her monthly period. But that period was very often and we decided to have her check by an OB-Gyne. From there, we discovered that she has a cyst on her ovary and needed an immediate operation. It also happen that she has a gallstones. Which means, she got two operation in just one day. Yes. Two.
As a process, we send it for biopsy to test to see if it’s malignant or not. Sad to say, we found out that she has Cervical Cancer; stage 2.
We never give up. Every day we travel from Bataan to Angeles, Pampanga. For almost one month.
A week after that, she finds it difficult to breathe. So we send her again to the hospital. We found out that she has pulmonary edema because of Crea. We are so focus on cancer that we almost forgot that she is diabetic. They put tubes on her that will help her breathe.
She undergo dialysis twice a week for her Crea. We noticed that her body is not the same anymore, her knees felt weak whenever she walk that sometimes, she fell down. She need assistance if she wants to walk.
As of now, her eyes is starting to blur. We need to send her again to ophthalmologist to check her and to prevent it to losing her sight. It’s been six months since she started her hemodialysis thru fistula. But, something happen. The fistula, the one we uses for her dialysis is gone. We need to put a catheter in her neck and have a new fistula.
