The purpose of the campaign is to empower the rural agriculture farmer the rural subsistence farmers by enhancing their ability to function better as follows:

1. Stabilizing the crop prices. During harvest time farmers ask for extreme low prices for their crops because they want avoid waste and spoilage. There is need to stabilize prices by ensuring that crops are available throughout the year. This means having irrigation pumps or hydroponic farming practices.

2. This entails farmers being to dry their crop and utilizing modern farming methods so they can produce the crop throughout the year. To do this needs solar irrigation pumps and hydroponic agricultural techniques to ensure farmers grow their crops throughout the year and the ability to dry their harvest utilizing solar powered dryers and being able to store their products for prolonged periods of time. The availability of the product throughout the year stabilizes the product price throughout the year.

3.One may think that the ability to produce more products throughout the year would cause oversupply of the product resulting in spoilage and lower prices. However, the excess inventory is exported to neighboring countries and abroad. And we have already established markets for their products.

4. The farmers do not have the money to pay for dryers, solar electricity to their homes, irrigation pumps etc. This means we must supply all the agricultural implements and supplies in advance and get the return on investments via a revenue sharing arrangement. The excess money is then re-invested in the operations so the expansion to other farmers is self-funded. Even more important, the excess money earned by farmers through increased output will demand for restaurants, banks, fire fighters, sewage, police, schools, water, transportation etc. leading to thriving cities. What once was a rural area will be transformed into a thriving city.

5. The rural Electrification has identified 1,000 such rural communities. The intention is to start with one and replicating the idea with necessary modifications to other rural communities. This will also styme the migration to cities by the younger generation. Even more important, this project will improve food security.
