Campaign Story
Here we are: Carmentalia, a theatre company which has been working in Rome since 2007.
We've always been in love with drama, and we met in the teathre academy in Rome. Since then, we've been acting both classical pieces, both new ones, always looking for new performances to enrich the Italian dramatic scene.
Last year our president, Andrea Trovato, won a prize as the best Italian emergent director and flew to New York, where he had the chance to see the newest Nick Payne's play, "Incognito".Andrea just deeply felt in love with it!
We therefore decided to get the royalties to let Carmentalia to stage the play in Italy. We'll be on stage in April at "Teatro Cometa" in Rome, and we're collecting the money we need to make it the best performance ever!
"Incognito" is a play about humam memory and identity. What does it make us able to record memories? is our behaviour strictly connected to what we esperienced in the past? and what if suddendly we do remember nothing? would we be the same as before?
Amazingly exploring those issues, "Incognito" is a perfect mix between real events and fiction.
Budget:
