We are the forgotten people when it comes to this government to help the people in real need.
An ongoing battle with organizations in charge for people in need, what a shamble.
Being classed as severe disabled and severe chronical ill in both high enhanced group on ESA/PIP been through the floored system many times and in recent months they have stopped my ESA and recently my PIP for no reasons given. I have been fighting a battle with the DWP the last few months for stopping my PIP and had to take them back to court for not honoring a previous court case and they could not even bother to respond to the courts even the DWP been reminded and given final notices by the courts. Myself and my fulltime carer also her money has been stopped due to cut off my PIP. The DWP is avoiding me in every way it is possible, from getting in touch direct, through complains department, parliamentary ombudsman, Trustpilot, Resolver, work & pension secretary, PM Boris Johnson and now in hand of the shadow work & pension secretary.
5-8 years no heating & hot water system due to government scheme not worked then (like for like), 2020 government scheme green home grant not working (for cash buyers only). Cannot even get one quote of a tradesman.
My small church been in touch with my local council TDC but no respond from them at all. We living from food banks, handouts and have to juggle what bill to pay until that money has run out too. At the moment hot water through a plug in tank and a very small heater but that will not last much longer because of cost. Never been given the option for my severe disability the things I need around my house, desperate of need of a special bath (wet room?) or conversion or just the basics. Sadly I was one of those people been constantly crucified by Atos and totally dehumanized and given false assessment, once 29 points been stolen of me.
All this has escalated to a malfunction DWP and a work & pension secretary not fit for purpose. None have come forward to help. Today Labour told me they cannot help either. Looks like the system stops people like me to get any help at all. Have written to disable organizations and they do not even bother to reply.
Just do not know what more can be done when every door slams closed in your face, is it due to postal lottery, failure in our total system, management & politicians or all of these? All that is no new news but due Covid19 the UK shows all its cracks and failures what been hidden under being a rich country.
I had to swallow my pride to write this online and living so called in one of the riches countries in the world we get constantly reminded of if so why I am doing this on here. Sounds to me like we became rich because we do not look after the vulnerable people like others do. Not even sure how much longer I can keep a roof over my house?
About me, I was still I am a master craftsman when it comes to wood. Studied as a cabinetmaker, woodcarving / sculpturing, carpentry / joinery, wood turning and many more things.
Sadly due to my handicap I am very limited what I can do know but if I can I love and enjoy every minute and that keeps me going. I was born in England, brought up in Germany and in South Africa and worked my way around Europe.
I always treat people the way I like to be treated and always help people when I could and never ever thought I would end up in the same situation one day myself. I always was a fighter and always found a way but being severe chronical ill and severe disable what has changed my way of thinking but never knew how hard it could be being in that situation but what makes it impossible and very upsetting when every door slams close on you and nowhere to go.
Now it feels to me what I am doing on here is like taking the last breath of air.
We all have goals in life where we like to be one day but those options been taken from me and got to think in small boxes.
They asking you what amount of money you like to achieve there are things a badly need to make my life easier and better like a heating system, corner bath with door and so much more and my house I never had the chance to finish and being a small builder I always finished or improved others.
Now I just would be happy to be able to buy food and pay my basic bills !!!!!!!!
