My name is Paulo Gacula, 24 years of age, college undergraduate, now married with one child. I live with my parents, and we reside here in Paloyon, Nabua Camarines Sur, Philippines. Our family basically lives thru farming as our source of livelihood, I know that we have had worked to the best way we can to live normally, as my parents tried to provide our basic human needs from food, clothing, and shelter (during their prime) but I can only say that we are deprived of the good things in life.
It is all about my mother, Mrs. Susan Llegado Gacula, she is at present in a very dreadful state. For almost a year now, (since last December 2017) where she was diagnosed and was stricken by an illness called DIABETES. It was only recently that her condition has gone worst as her health is gradually deteriorating, she now suffers from renal kidney disease, coupled with other complications such as Enlargement of the heart, Ulcer, Cataract, Blindness due to blood clot in the eye, Charcot foot due to Osteoporosis and recently in her CT scan result, there was a Calcium build up on her brain.
This kind of disease requires a treatment called DIALYSIS. A life saving process cleansing the blood. It is a very costly process, for which we all in the family feels sadness and grief. We could have done a little better if only we can afford to provide this treatment for her continuously. Thus, due to financial standing, we can only live within our reach. And that, the session required for her at least three times a week, at times we can only afford once.
She is being treated at Medical Mission Group Hospital, located here at Nabua, Camarines Sur, Philippines since August 2018
I wish to humbly address this message, knocking at your door if you could spare me the wisdom of kindness to my ailing mother, our gratitude and appreciation - as it will make a big difference.
