I'm a foreign scholar in South Korea from the Philippines. Unfortunately, I met an accident in my Tae Kwon Do class. I badly injured my knees that requires reconstructive surgery of my ACL and repair of MMPH and LCL ligaments. I'm raising funds for this since I am not allowed to work mainly because of the injury but also due to university rules and country laws.
However, despite the fact that I have medical insurance which covers 90% of the cost. The 10% I am expected to cover is still a sizable amount plus the unexpected cost not covered by insurance such as my knee brace and procedure like MRI. The amount has been estimated 1.5-1.8 Million Won which is equivalent to 60-70 Thousand Pesos (1,250-1,500USD) not including the cost of the physical therapy which will cost me 75,000 Won per week which is equivalent to 3,000Php (62.00USD) for the next 3 months.
I am extending my utmost gratitude for the assistance you can extend to me. Maraming Salamat (Thank you).
