In need of financial help

First, thank you for taking the time to read this. A little over 4 years ago we were lucky to be able to realize our dream of building a house. Unfortunately the builder was less than truthful and shortly after the house was built he disappeared. I don't know how but we didn't get any liens on our house but a couple months after we moved in we started finding the problems. For example our son's bedroom was/is the coldest room in the house and for whatever reason the framing around his window leaks. He's 5 years old, he should feel warm and safe in his own bedroom. We have over 30k in debt but I'm not looking for the full amount. $4000 would go a long way to help us out. Thank you for listening.
