Whether you knew Rishi for 5 minutes, 5 years or his entire life, he had a way of touching your heart, making you smile, and lighting up your day. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, a loyal friend, a gifted healer and a magician osteopath. On Saturday, August 1st Rishi passed away suddenly, leaving behind a beautiful family, including his wife Reena and young daughters Maya (age 5) and Jiya (age 2). His family meant the world to Rishi and it is our hope that every donation, large and small, will help them move forward during this extremely difficult time.

This page is a dedication to a wonderful soul that is gone way too soon. Please post any thoughts, comments and special memories or share your photos by emailing them to [email protected]. These will be compiled and kept as memories for Reena, Maya and Jiya.

With extreme gratitude,

The Angras Family

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry;

I am not there. I did not die.

  • I heard yesterday that Rishi has passed and am deeply upset by this news. I was a classmate at osteopathy school, we had different friends and have not had contact since graduation. I cannot stop thinking about him today and feel so sad for his family. When I think of Rishi I remember a shining light, a huge smile, a shy vulnerability, a kindness a gentleness, genuineness and purity. He was a special human being. My heart goes out to you at this time.

  • I have just found out about Rishi and I am deeply shock and saddened. I send my deepest sympathy to his family and friends. I graduated with Rishi from the ESO in 2000 and he came to my wedding in 2001, after then as things happen we lost touch. He was an excellent Osteopathic practitioner, a kind thoughtful man with a heart full of love for all who came into contact with him, he will be truly missed. Again I send my sincere condolences to his family.

  • Rishi was a wonderful practitioner and will be greatly missed. You could sense that he truly cared about his patient's progress. He had a very calm way about him and could explain things in a way that made sense to someone without a medical degree. He was very proud of his family and enjoyed speaking about his children. My deepest sympathy to his family.

  • I was really sad to hear that Rishi had left us. I didn't think that with his apparent robust constitution and his big heart, he would have left us this quickly. Rishi was my tutor and teacher at the European School of Osteopathy. I remember his calm voice and composure which made me trust that it was all going to be okay after the exams. He would be serious about clinic matters and then give this accomplice look and smile. He was very accessible to both the students and the faculty and didn't feel he should behave superiorly in any way because he was a tutor, I liked that. He was one of the rare people that I met who didn't need a hierarchy to include people in his heart.

  • I'll never forget the day on 1st August that his dad Krishan came knocking on my door, asking for help. WIthin minutes I'd organised his flights, and hours later, I was taking Krishan and Prathiba to Gatwick to fly to Canada. It all happened so quickly and unexpectedly. You and your family have my DEEPEST condolences. He was a lovely man and I always looked forward to seeing him visit his parents.

  • Rishi was a rare gem. Like so many others have said, I recall how fondly he talked about his wife and two daughters during our appointments. It was so evident how much he loved and valued his family.
