In Memory of Michael Mancera

On the evening of the 21st of June 2019, my uncle, Michael Mancera, suffered a sudden cardiac attack that ultimately took his life almost immediately. This incident has become a tragic news to bear not only to his family and friends, but for everybody that knew him in the community and in his career as a public servant.

Michael is survived by his three sons, Derek, Niño, and Lee Kiam, his partner Julieh (Darling), and his siblings Carolyn, Mark and Edchris along with his neices and nephews and relatives.

Michael has been a pillar in his community in Barangay Mahayahay, as an elected Kagawad (council) and has been a big supporter and advocate for youth activities, education, and community engagement and wellness. His numerous involvement in education scholarship programs, civic duties, and sports advocacy are just a small part of the myriad of plans he had in mind as a public servant.

Every person that knows him, from a mere acquaintance to his close friends and family, has been a witness of to his infectious smile, his unwavering sense of puposr, and his optimism and kindness.

This GoGetFunding page is created to raise funds that will be helpful to his family as they try to bounce back in the wake of his passing. The bulk of the money raised will also be given to his three children to help with their expenses as they transition from this devastating loss.
