Campaign Story
In memory of my brother Matthew Riordan, who unfortunately lost the battle on April 25, 2021 after a hard struggle for his life. He was 45 years old. We would be very grateful if you can donate to his wish, the Children's Cancer Center of the Royal Children's Hospital. Matt was first diagnosed with leukemia when he was 5 years old, and he underwent a life-saving bone marrow transplant from his sister when he was 15 years old. Surviving a further relapse 18 months later, despite many obstacles, he still leads a fulfilling and extraordinary life. Over the years, the RCH cancer ward became his second home, where he spent a lot of time. He started volunteering for the "Good Friday Appeal" five years ago. Matt is an extraordinary person. He bravely fought every obstacle without complaint, always with a smile on his face, and never regarded himself as a victim until the end.
