Campaign Story
To everyone that may not have heard Marc sadly passed away on Thursday 26th October at 7.44 am. Aged just 44 years. Marc was taken ill on Sunday 22nd October with a bad headache, we got him to the hospital quickly. Many hours later after so many tests we were told the devastating news that Marc had a stroke. The next few days passed in a total blur with more tests and then the heartbreaking news that Marc would not survive. Marc wanted to be an organ donor, so with the amazing transplant team this was arranged. His heart, liver & both kidneys will now be living on, his truly amazing gift for 4 other lucky people.
Marc was a loving husband, a truly amazing step Dad to Rickey, Katie & Jamie. Also the best Gdad to Macey, Archie, Arya & Aoife.
Funeral plans are still be arranged and any updates regarding locations and times will be posted here. However we do know that Marc would have hated you to wear a suit or black "normal" funeral clothing, so please come as you are. Family flowers only please, any funds remaining will be donated to various Podenco charities (you all know how much he loved his Pods)
We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages, from people asking how to help, so here it is!
Marc had no life insurance in place or any real savings and always joked that when it was his time to just throw him on the bonfire!
