In Memory of Grandad: His Tour of Wales

Between June 5th to June 12th I will be covering 1,000km and climbing Cadair Idris in memory of my Grandad & best friend. Unfortunately my Grandad passed away in March 2014 and it really knocked me back. Originally I had planned to do this whilst my Grandad was still alive, however, due to the circumstances I was unable to. The route focuses on my Grandads life and I am grateful that my Grandad was able to help provide me with the information for places he loved yet saddened that he can not see me fulfil this. The route begins from outside the house that he grew up in and finishes at the Family home. The route goes through places that Grandad lived in, worked in, loved and had cherished memories at with the family. This means the world to me, but I need to raise funds in order to equip myself and be able to get accommodation. Anything over my goal will go straight towards my chosen charity (Parkinson's UK).
