In Memory of Ethan McEnally

It is with heavy and broken hearts that we reach out our family, friends and loved ones.

On the evening of June 25, 2015, our nephews Josh and Ethan, along with their cousin Tyler Murray, were on their way home from a family dinner when they were involved in a horrific traffic accident here in Huntington Beach. A suspected drunk driver changed all of our lives forever when he collided with the truck they were traveling in. Josh and Tyler survived the accident and are physically recovering. However, our beloved Ethan succumbed to in injuries. This is a devastating loss of our entire family and for all of those who knew this amazing 14 year old.

Ethan had just promoted from 8^th grade on Tuesday afternoon. He was a star soccer player (goal keeper) and was looking forward to playing on the freshman high school team in the fall. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend. Words cannot express how much he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Our brother Scott, his surviving son Josh, and the boy’s mom (Julie McEnally) will need lots of love, support and prayers for the days and months ahead. We are establishing this fund for the McEnally family to help offset the costs of Ethan’s memorial service, family medical expenses and the future healing needs of the family that have resulted from this tragic event.

Our family would like each of you to hug and kiss your children more often, and tell your loved ones each and every opportunity you have just how much you love them. Life is fragile and can change in an instant!
