In memory of our beloved uncle, friend, brother in Christ, David De Benedetti

“我爱你，你好美。” (I love you, you are so pretty)

This was Uncle's trademark catchphrase during his times in Singapore. He was always trying his best to accommodate to the culture in Singapore. He was a great papa, husband, uncle, biker, teacher, joker, preacher & most of all a great fisher of men!

David was in chemo treatment for his leukemia & suffered a stroke while in the midst of it. He had brain surgeries to remove the fluid & pressure. Unfortunately, he did not wake up from his sleep after the surgeries and his leukemia came back.

20 But our citizenship is in heaven.And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. (Phillippians 3:20-21)

It is with great sadness that we have to bid farewell to David on earth, but we rejoice because he has fought the good fight of faith and is now in the safe hands of our Savior and author of our salvation,Christ Jesus. Thank you everyone for the fond memories you have created with David during his time on Earth. And in this page, specifically, families and friends of Singapore & Malaysia.
