Improvement of coffee growers

We are in a social project that seeks to help coffee growers have better income from their coffee.

Imagine that while coffee shops like Starbucks, Illy, OMA, Juan Valdez, etc., charge a dollar for a cup of coffee, on average. The coffee growers receive the same but for a pound of coffee. Taking into account that approximately 50 cups of coffee are prepared from a pound of coffee, coffee growers are only earning 2% in this business model.

One option for coffee growers to have a better income is for them to be certified with international quality labels, but paying for these certifications is impossible when coffee growers are only earning to survive. In some cases there are producers who, if they have enough to eat, don't have to buy a bundle of compost. Namely that 95% of producers in Colombia are small producers.

The solution to this is to create a traceability system that bypasses the international certifiers, using a technology that lowers the certification costs to the minimum possible. For this, it is sought, among other things, to use spectroscopy and verify the coffee beans when they are received in the warehouses where they are purchased. Apart from that, data on water, fertilizers, plants, fruits, green and roasted beans will also be captured and related to the capture of the coffee drink in a cup. All this done with near infrared spectroscopy. After that, teach a machine learning system to identify all the chemical elements that recognize all the information in coffee. Then connect that to a coffee maker with an embedded spectroscope (accurate low cost) and connected to that knowledge learned using machine learning. This so that the user can know all the data of the drink that he is going to ingest: its including the data of origin where it was grown, contaminants, if it is mixed with barley or other grains, in short, all the compounds that guarantee that the coffee that you are going to drink is of the best quality.

Initially we need to do an investigation for which we need equipment that costs $ 5,000 plus shipping and taxes.
