Friends of Al Chism: Immediate Health & Legal Fees

Dear Friends, Family and Supporters of Al Chism,

Al W. Chism needs our help! Al has been a good friend of mine for over 12 years. We have become so close that we call each other brothers. In fact, my children have grown up calling him “Uncle Al”. He is known for playing ball with the neighborhood kids and often seen having fun with the family German Shepard “Rocko”. Al is a dedicated father of 3 children. He is raising two energetic little elementary schoolers and one outstanding high school scholar. His children love and miss him greatly.

Al has been accused of several violent felonies and has already been in jail, with no bond, for a year and a half. We believe that Al is innocent and he should be freed immediately! Al goes to trial as soon as next week, possibly beginning on April 24, 2017. He has proven legal counsel that can provide successful defense but, this defense needs to be adequately funded. We are soliciting your help in raising $5000, as soon as possible, to pay the remainder of the retainer fee as well as the extensive legal work that is being done for his case. As a result of prior medical conditions, poor jail conditions and the stress of being incarcerated Al’s health has declined. Notwithstanding the psychological effects of being incarcerated, Al has developed high blood pressure, digestive issues and significant weight gain. The cafeteria meals provided to him have to be supplemented with healthier foods to attempt to balance his condition. This also comes at a cost. His closest friends and family have been providing thus far but it is simply not enough and has strained and even drained them financially and emotionally.

We can help! With generous donations from each of us combined, we can provide the financial support Al needs to be as healthy as he can while he is inside and the legal defense to see him out as soon as possible. I can’t wait to see him with his mom and children again! Your funds will be allocated directly to Al’s commissary and legal fees.
