To be very clear and blunt, due to a recent insurance change, contents of the the home will NOT be covered by insurance. It is a very complicated story, but Joy and family are fortunate to even have a place to stay due to their church. There is no "loss of use". Folks, to be blunt, this situation coupled with 3 year old Moriah-Beth and her needs due to hydrocephalus, is totally devastating beyond what is comprehensible. Their world has been turned upside down. PLEASE, if you thought about donating but didn't and are able, NOW is the the time! And share, share, share!!! Every penny is appreciated and used for necessities of which there are many. I cannot stress enough how important it is to select "giving to a friend" if using PayPal. It saves a second fee. They are looking at 6 months minimum displacement. Please give generously, share, and understand that insurance isn't going to make this all better. Due to Moriah-Beth's health condition, hydrocephalus, very precise food must be obtained and made. As well as supplements for both her and Joy. The fire melted them all. Thousands worth. I got one company to donate one item. I am working on diapers next. PLEASE. The Davis family is overwhelmed. Both with gratitude at what has been given but also at how much work lie ahead and expense toward regaining a semblance of life with their precious daughter. This could be any of of us.
