IMMAF World Championships 2015

Hi guys, Here's a little about me. A little over a year ago, I moved to Swansea to pursue my dreams and train MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) full time at the Chris Rees Academy. I do this while working a regular job four to five hours a day. Fortunately my job allows me to work early in the morning which means I can train two to three sessions daily. I live with two other fighters, also training full time. Most the money I earn from work goes on rent, bills, food and travel.

I have been selected through a series of trails to represent Team UK in the 2015 IMMAF World Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada (5100 miles away from my home). With the potential of fighting six times in six days, it will be the toughest thing I have done to date! The event will bring some of the best amateurs from around the globe, competing to become this years amateur WORLD CHAMPION!

The event will take place during International Fight Week with the final taking place at the UFC Fan Expo, the fights will be shown on UFC Fight Pass before the prelims to UFC 189: McGregor vs Aldo
Over forty countries spanning five continents will have amateurs vying for gold!

Now anyone who knows me, understands how hard I train, the sacrifices and dedication I put towards my goals. These will be my last amateur fights before turning professional at the end of the year.
I will always try to self fund and have done for as much as possible of this journey.
