About Imperfect Moms Foundation

In the year 2016, the founders of IMF established an initiative calling for the unity of women in tackling social development issues and the pressures of being a young mother. Later In 2017, Imperfect Moms foundation was later instituted and joined by other remarkable women who wish to make an impact in their environments and in the socio-economic status of the country for women.

IMF Support Forum

Imperfect Moms Foundation originally rooted from its support forum as an open platform for young mothers to interact on the basis of their lives and empowering each other.

Since then, the organization has developed the forum into a movement with a great presence amongst young women-especially young mothers in the East Rand of Gauteng, Kempton Park-spreading to various towns in the province-into other less developed provinces, as well as major cities, Durban and Cape Town. The forum has achieved in engaging a following of over a thousand and actively engaging over 50 young women as well as host a series of events in women empowerment.

IMF Safe Home

The women's safe home caters all women facing challenges-in need of a safe haven.

We live in a country with a high crime rate-especially crimes against women. Often, women become victims of many injustices due to being vulnerable and physically disadvantaged. Our aim is to create a space that provides social, mental and health care to those who are in need.

IMF Safe Home is more than just a place of refuge but also a place for spiritual development. We hope to ignite change in the lives of women and in turn changing the lives of children and in turn bettering the standards of living for all.
