Pass The Dutch To SovereignShakti

Update posted by IMAAN LATIF On Aug 12, 2020

Listen,

When I first landed in the Netherlands two years ago my soul shook to the core from the vibrational imprintation of murder rape and slavery in every brick and building I walked pass. At the same time for the first time in my life I felt a connection to tangible resources, a calling of longing spoke to me. I haven't found the words fully but I listened to that calling and applied to study in the Netherlands.

For two main reasons.

1. This fucking "Empire" is built on the back blood sweat and tears of my people. Stolen recources and forced labor. I am my ancestors and we will get our wealth back.

2. The rape culture in South Africa is everywhere. You go to school with rapist, even outing them, the institution does nothing. You're expected to sit on ms teams with them and carry on submitting your work. The teachers themselves are either triggered or untrained and Callous while the white students will blame you for 'public crucifixion' I'm talking to you Rhodes University WSOA Open Forum Wits - University of the Witwatersrand since I've been in this spaces sitting in libraries and art studios along side the raped and rapist. Make no mistake in ever thinking that these violent cultures has nothing to do with the history of violence from colonialism and apartheid. Again. Vibrational imprintation.

I'm really fed up about this and especially fed up with fighting gatekeepers of patriarchy at every corner who themselves are so traumatized they function on fear and become the very obstacles to justice.

Anyways my dream is not some Disney fantasy of coffeeshops and freedom. My dreams Is the Karmic Lineage cleaning and the legacy I will leave for the next generation to raise higher and reach further towards peace dignity and so that they know where they are from, they are educated to belong and feel safe and have the tools to fight and annihilate anything that attacks them.

If that means my lifetime is a battle. I'm here. I'm here I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here.

I've been accepted to three universities ArtEZ, HKU and Gerrit Rietveld Academie.

I've chosen to persue the third simply because I get to transfer credits and am not forced to restart the academic degree and also Amsterdam is more diverse in terms of English speakers as well as a larger BIPOC community.
