The MISSION of Ikhaya da Luz

To provide and sustain a Safe Haven and Foster Home, where neglected, abused, abandoned and orphaned Children are cared for, nourished, loved and guided to experience their magnificence.

Gently empowering Children to rise above their circumstances, to love unconditionally, be compassionate, be authentic, have freedom of choice, understand accountability and live playful lives of significance.

Our Children will be guided out of a negative “victim” mentality and emotionally equipped to focus on using their past circumstances and traumas as tools to make a positive difference in other Children's lives, creating a massive movement of change in our young generations.

iKhaya da Luz is a foster home where vulnerable children are cared for, nourished, loved & guided to experience their own magnificence.

Our Objectives
• Providing Foster Care and Safe Care for Children who are removed from immediate danger or who are at risk.
• Providing a permanent home for Children that are not reunified with parents or family until they are of age.
• Rendering family and parent counsel and guidance services.
• Creating awareness specifically through schools where the community is conscious and able to identify Children at risk and take urgent necessary action.

Our Task
To find visionaries with a heart for our Children who are willing and able to become regular ongoing Donors and Sponsors. To further develop and maintain sustainability with our resources in; gardening, fruit trees, vegetables, chickens and with other animals.
