Igor’ Philosophy School

I represents a way to philosophy and consciousness development by means of self-expression through art. It is like analog of art therapy, but through philosophy. Visual images are supplemented with the texts helping more deeply to get into a primary idea. Same which were born at the author in the course of picture creation. It is in such a way possible to reach a sincere unification, to like subjects and moods, characteristic for that period of time. I hope, these notes and ideas will help you differently to look around. Remember: the purpose of knowledge is the truth, but the truth not always is knowledge. I would like to organize special courses of philosophy. It's a good way to understand your soul. I and few my colleagues decide to open free for entry school, were the main description should be art and philosophy. I see how in fact there is growing interest in art and the presentation of philosophy through art among a generation of educated people of about 23-35 years. Especially it is felt in the countries of Eastern Europe. My idea is to enable young talents to show their paintings and works, and the audience gathered could discuss and find new ways in philosophy. In fact, this is like a communication club. But since together we decided to rely on already known art works and philosophical books, so I came up with the name of the "school". We have already held such meetings with artists in my home country Lithuania. I liked the idea. Now we have a plan to hold 5 meetings in big cities of Lithuania (Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda, Panevezys, Nida) with youth auditory, then 2 meetings in Riga (Latvia), 1 in Tallinn (Estonia), 1 in Warsaw, 1 in Berlin (Germany), 2 in London. Also after the tour of these places, I want to release a book with reproductions of paintings, their description, and the most interesting comments and photos from the visitors of our meetings (school).
