Ignatz Needs Our Help

Hello friends,

Our dear friend Ignatz needs our help. Some of you may be familiar with his circumstances, but if not, here is a little bit of info he's given the okay for me to share.

Due to a protracted legal battle and the long illness and eventual loss of Iggy's dear wife S., Iggy is in a tough financial spot. He has his own business and has been able to secure support for it, but currently has an immediate and urgent need for new housing for himself and his stepson, who has medical issues. He will be leaving the house where he proposed to S., where they raised their children, and where she spent her last minutes on this earth. It is hard to imagine how hard this will be for him, especially when finances are not secure.

To these ends, I have set this up with his permission. Those of you who know Iggy will understand that this was a difficult thing for him to ask. I hope it gives you some indication of his need. But we all love and appreciate him so much that I felt we couldn't stand idly by, as the saying goes, when one of our good guys needs a hand. He is very, very humbled and grateful.

Any amount at all is deeply appreciated. Thank you ever so much for your consideration.

One final but important plea - due to Iggy's circumstances and the nature of our little group, please try to keep details including names and nicknames (and the name of the place from which we all know each other) as private as possible when leaving comments or sharing with others.
