I'm trying to raise some funding for a development project of mine in South Africa. I have recently found a great equity and loan sourcing consultancy that is willing and able to assist me in locating sufficient partners for this sustainable Eco-village estate and hospitality business venture.

Unfortunately, they work on a retainer basis and even though they have substantially reduced their fees, I am unable to meet their full fees at the present moment. This has led me to try and figure out a creative solution to my problem as well provide some benefit in terms of my request.

Over the years I have accumulated a large amount of business, inspirational and self-help books that I thought to donate to a local charity supporting adult learning and community up-liftment initiatives on behalf of donors in exchange for their support of my program.

This would mean that for every $10 / R100 donation, I would donate a book from my collection on their behalf. This would be later accompanied by a donations letter of receipt that they could use for taxation benefits if such rebates are available in their particular country of origin. Donors may select from a list that is busy being compiled.

The charity I have in mind is currently in great need of such books as since they've started the project there has been a great thirst for knowledge and reading generated in the local community; who have been crying out for someone to care enough and give them a means to improve themselves to start the path toward a better future for them and their families.
