Campaign Story
My name is Thando. I inherited Rode Cone Distrophy from my birth mom and have only 10% vision. Unfortunately, she passed away but I am so lucky to have been adopted now and my new mom is doing everything possible to give me the best chance at getting a great education. I am a smart little 12 year old, however at present, I cannot fully access my school curriculum as the print in text books is too small for me to read. My occupational therapist has recommended some amazing devices that could assist me. My mom and I would greatly appreciate any contributions towards purchasing an iPad Pro with keyboard, a standing table, audiobooks, a light box and a Ruby 7 magnifier , things that could help me achieve my dream of becoming a news reporter. Thank you in advance!
Photos : me using my new light box, hand writing before and after getting my light box. My art.
