Our Dream

We dream to build our home but we need help with the down payment!  I know it seems like a lot we are trying to raise but if you read our story it will make sense why we need soo much!

Our Story

Happily married for 11 years and together for 15, we have grown up together and overcome dropping out of school (college for me and high school for him) and both gone on to finish our degrees while working the entire time. We promised our children to give them a permanent home when their dad finished school. 

Our Challenge 

We have waited for seven years to start this process and tried to be responsible by waiting until my husband finished his degree.  Unfortunately, during this time the mortgage industry has changed dramatically, we had a welcomed blessing of our second child and I have been battling for four years to stop someone from using my identity on a regular basis and return my credit report to normal (a battle I would never wish upon anyone!)  I have not been able to get the police to stop her, I have spent endless hours proving the fraud is not mine and now the effects have trickled over into our dream of building a home.

We now have the income and job security in place but due to the factors above, we are being asked to provide a hefty down payment...which we were not anticipating. Our savings has been depleted because we lived on it while my husband was student teaching...we are working on replenishing but it will not happen as quickly as we need it to.
