I have no idea how one goes about this, so let's just get down to it.
My name is Adam, and I'm a 30-ish "weekend dad" (seeing my situation, that is a very reasonable call on the part of my ex). I'm unemployed due to mental illness (bipolar disorder with a generous dash of social anxiety). Long story short, it's a good day when I can leave the apartment.
My country's health care system is currently pretty much nonexistent, so while I'd love to go to a therapist, it costs money. Which, as you may already have guessed, I don't have.
I'm currently allowed to live in a friend's flat for free, but it's a temporary thing - however, living arrangements also happen to cost a lot. With flat sharing and utilities, we're looking at around $300 a month - average salary is around $400, so it might even work out. Provided that I can pull myself together.
A session costs between $40 and $80 in this city. I'm already trying to scrape together as much as I can from friends and family, but I have few of the former and most of the latter is dead.
I don't even know what to offer here. Gratitude, I guess?
