ICT Literacy Project

This project was developed in order to help Sierra Leoneans to seize the opportunity and adopt Information and Communication Technology(ICT) as a priority tool to fight poverty, illiteracy & discrimination.

We aim at helping kids get confidence and competence in the use of ICT to all aspects of their studies and even beyond. In the future (within 20 years), We wish to see a society where ICT has become part of the everyday life of the average Sierra Leonean child.

Our current project aims at introducing children (between the ages of 7 and 17) to the use of ICT facilities. This will be done by providing free summer school training in ICT every year, starting from June 2014.

Our team believes that the early introduction of ICT in schools and society serves as major solution to the fundamental problems of illiteracy in Sierra Leone.
