About us

iCare came into existence from our desire to contribute directly towards the quality of life in the community we live in. We aspire to be an example worthy of being followed. We are a young team, very dynamic and enthusiastic, composed of members with experience and training in animal welfare and/or animal rescue.

OUR MISSION:

Improving the community through animal rescue and education.

OUR PURPOSE:

Improving the community through reinforcing an optimal human-animal-environment interaction, by means of animal rescue, animal-assisted therapy, and educational endeavours, with the purpose of reaching and maintaining a biopsychosocial well-being both for people and animals.

Your donations will go to achieving the following objectives:

1. Sheltering stray animals in a proper environment, ensuring that their basic (physiological, social, psychological and behavioral) needs are met, towards permanent adoption.
2. Hosting animal-assisted activities and therapy in a fitting medium, for improving the quality of life for the general public.
3. Educating the younger population concerning ideal human-animal-environment interaction, through educational plans/schemes.
4. Informing the general public regarding the benefits of human-animal synergy.
5. Enhancing environmental quality.
6. Initiating local development projects in accordance to society's real needs, and in support of the rights of those marginalised or socially excluded.
