iCaftan.com offers a new experience of designing traditional Moroccan Couture (Caftan).

We intend to innovate a very traditional business segment, elevate the service level and redefine the design process by involving the customer and making the design process vivid, easy and enjoyable!

We aim to set a new trend in the Moroccan couture industry and add a new and exciting experience. People will not buy a caftan anymore; they will create one! At the same time, we help local tailors and designers to work on international orders.

The Moroccan couture industry is booming. Not only among Moroccan ladies, the international fashion shows of the last years have gained the Moroccan creations a worldwide exposure. The Moroccan community abroad helped also export this culture into different parts of the world.With the cross-pollination of other styles and cultures, the Moroccan caftans have grown into mature creations that fits effortlessly everywhere without loosing their traditional flair.

  • It starts with the online design module in our webshops: customers are able to design, customize and order a caftan with a few mouse clicks by changing fabrics and attributes like sleeves, collar, embroidery etc. 3D rendering technology visualize the final design on-the-go.
  • Experience centers in the major cities will offer extra services like measurements, fabrics sampling and professional/artistic assistance in the design process. These can be offered in a franchise concept. The experience centers will add a new dimension to the products and services we provide.
  • Measurement centers in cooperation with different tailors in target cities.

iCaftan.com offers a new experience of designing a caftan or Takshita (further called: Caftan).

The in-store designer is a module that is used in tailor shops (license-based) and in our experience centers. A tailor can create profiles for his customers and design a caftan with his customer is a large touch-screen. An experience center professional can load the design of a webshop customer and assist with the design.

The products and services we are offering are specially designed to create a new experience in designing and buying a caftan. It visualizes the designs in real time making it possible to the customer to try different combinations. The experience centers give our products an extra dimension by offering sampling and measurements services. Customers get also hands-on support with their designs and orders. This will close the gap between the ease of online shopping and the personal touch of in shop support. There will be also cooperation with existing tailors in different cities to offer measurement service in proximity of our customers.
