My name is Alan Upshur. I just came home from prison for assault and selling drugs.I was a college student who forgot to value education.For three years i was incarcerated and it hurt so bad letting my family down. I promised myself and them i would make a plan to not only get out but also stay out.So what better way than to start a shoe company motivated to staying out. We need the constant reminder with every step we take. Strive for Entrepreneurship strive to be that better parent that better husband.I want better for myself and my family.I am in baltimore maryland where the crime rate is terrible. I cant draw but i have 20sketches based on the reminder of the pain that we need to always remember to keep us on the straight and narrow to stay focused.I will take donations to begin my process of taking my sketches to a professional then to get prototypes. This prison and re entry program is a very large population and we need those who do have a positve dream or goal to accomplish to have as many reminders as they can. I simply as the world for help i made my mistakes and determined to make a positive impact on the world.Thank you
