The laptop in the picture above is what I am using to type this. I got it in 2009 from its original owner, and it's hardly any good anymore. I can't even format and reinstall, because there are no drivers available anymore.

The truth is that I can't afford a new computer. Let alone a good one. My rent is killing me month after month, and at times I'm facing tremendous problems making it through the day. I wish I had a decent computer to play around with in my oh-so-licenced Photoshop and learn more: not wait forever to load, to apply filters... One that won't close programs out of the blue.

Will you, people, please crowdfund me to get a:
- i5 8500
- mid-range Asus motherboard
- 8GB DD4
- 240 SSD
- an above mid-range Asus video card

A 32" monitor would be nice, too, and a flower... Some chocolate, and a wine.
:)

Then there's the power supply, the case... A less expensive Windows OEM would not sound bad either. I'm tired of that depressive dark desktop.

For some reason, electronics are always a little bit more expensive in Romania than in the west. I've seen Intel's recommended prices for the US market, they're 30% lower. I think the system / monitor / Windows will cost about $1400, and I am trying to raise $1600... Just in case the chocolate and the wine cost more.

... and also because GoGetFunding and PayPal have some small fees too.

Thanks for your support.

Rewards

A simbolic gesture. I will send you a thank-you video of me editing in Photoshop.
