 I was SHOT in the CHEST - Left For DEAD - My Life-Savings Stolen!

Hello -

Thanks for being here.  I've always been a very indepedent man and seldom would ask for help, even when I could use it. I never thought I would be doing this, but sometimes you must do what is necessary. I'm asking for help and here is why.

Here's my brief story:

I'm 60 years old, retired and living in a peaceful small town in Idaho.  I retired there because I enjoy the trees, the greenery, rivers and lakes.  I live alone.  I have no family and my closest friends had all died.  I had one friend still around.  I met her when I was taking care of my elderly mother who had cancer and later died. 

This woman had a charming personality, gracious, polite and was very likable.  We developed a fun and somewhat trusting relationship, however, I decided to make it a platonic relationship.  I decided to move to Idaho.  "She" remained in Nevada.

One day she called me crying.  She says she's nearly homeless and unemployed and needs help.  I offered to provide the upstairs portion of my house in Idaho and support her until she could find a job and get on with her life.  She accepted. 

We had a very amiable "roommate" living situation and we had a great time. She spent a lot of time upstairs in her bedroom with the door closed.  She was on the phone constantly.  I eventually thought something wasn't right.

One evening I was at the computer - she served me a beverage (mixed with a drug).  After the drug took affect, she SHOT me in the chest - robbed me of my life-savings (gold/silver bullion) and left me for DEAD. 

I woke up 12 hours later in a pool of blood.  I called the ambulance and I was rushed to the hospital.  I was hospitalized for 11 days....I also endured lung surgery. I was terribly confused and couldn't understand WHY she would do this to me.

Before the incident, I was shopping for medical insurance, but didn't get it in time.  Naturally, the hospital bills are outrageous.   I also had to move from my house and into a safe house. I feared she may come back to finish the job.  I didn't know what to expect.  I discovered she had a bi-polar mental disorder. 

The police were no help at all.  Matter of fact, while I was lying in the hospital bed, they ransacked my house and removed many personal items from my house and refuse to release them.  Many of the items were keepsakes my father gave me before he died.  The entire incident is so bazzar.  Sometimes I think I'm living in a nightmare.   I thought the police were suppose to "protect and serve'?  I'm a bit confused.

"She" plotted and schemed the entire incident. It was pre-meditated. She moved from Nevada to idaho with a loaded gun, searched for my small safe for months, then carried out her evil deed.  Once she found my lock-box full of gold/silver bullion - my life had no value. 

I WAS LIVING WITH THE ENEMY AND DIDN'T KNOW IT.  Some people say ... "I danced with the 'devil' and I'm alive to talk about it.

Anyway, you know why I'm here.  This incident turned my entire life upside down.  I have no income, no money and no home.  My entire live-savings (retirement funds) are gone.  I'm concerned.  I'm 60 years old and I'm having to start all over.  I'm a lucky man - I actually should be dead.  The bullet missed my heart by only ONE inch.  It is consered a KILL shot.

PS:  There are a few good people within the film industry who are taking an interest in my story and want to tell others as a warning.  Maybe we can turn "lemmons" into "lemonade".  You think?  I hope so.  They want to create a documentary or a movie of what happened to me.
