I want to study

Hello everyone, my name is Jolfran Palacios; I'm from Caracas, Venezuela. I was born on February 28, 1994. I’m a student of mathematics education of the institute Pedagogical of Caracas (IPC). Because of the political, economic and social crisis in Venezuela, has also affected me, I had to reconsider the direction in my life.

When I graduated from high school, I had a clear goal of progressing in my life through a university career. Thanks to the effort, I was able to pass the demanding entrance exam to one of the best public universities in Venezuela, the UCV, to study Chemistry. However, due to the economic difficulties, I had to paralyze the studies after two years and decided to start studying at another public University, in a career that would allow me to work more quickly, so I prepare and could get to enter the University par excellence that trains high school teachers in Venezuela to study Mathematics Education, which I course currently. However, now the economic situation in my country is even worse and even when I am in the second year of a career in Mathematics Education is not possible for me keep on going. This specificaly means the level of the crisis don't allow me to get the basic things (food, transportation, clothes) to keep studying, as I could do it in the past.

Now, I have the opportunity to go to Argentina thanks to a family member who recently emigrated to that country. His condition is not very good, but I can stay with him a couple of months while I look for a job and cover my personal expenses.

My goal is to continue studying, because I want to be a professional. In this process, I would also like to be of help to my families, who cannot leave Venezuela and I also want to be part of the solution in this crisis.

I have researched about the universities in Argentina and I have already contacted the UBA (Universidad de Buenos Aires) and UNLP (Universidad Nacional de La Plata), public universities, to which I have sent my grades in the universities where I studied, and they have allowed me to continue studying with them to finish my university career.

Please help me to reach this goal, I need to buy a bus ticket to Argentina and have resources for food expenses during the trip and for food expenses in Argentina for one month after I got established and have my ID that allows me to work in this country.
