I am a 49-year-old single mother living in Japan.

I live with my eldest daughter, her young daughter, my second daughter, and a dog.

My second daughter and I have a common dream that is living in harmony with nature and share our joy with others.

My second daughter and I both love nature.

Nature's bounty makes us feel safe and to be creative.

We like to live our creative lives in nature. That means planting and making things.

We would like to live in a house that is close to nature, which is the foundation of our dream, and make our dream come true.

For the last year, in the rented house we live in, we did DIY as best as we can, planted plants in a small concrete space, and my 17-year-old second daughter became a videographer and filmed the process.

We used to live in a place where nature was all around us.

We bought a small old house (the land was rented) in the northern countryside and lived without spending much money.

I was a single mother with no money, and my second daughter had chosen to be homeschooled since she was six years old.

My second daughter and I would pick wild vegetables in the spring and walnuts and chestnuts in the fall.

We grew crops in the fields, did DIY projects for the house, and cut and split wood to make firewood for the stove.

We looked for wild grape vines, birch branches, and other pretty materials around us that we could use for woodworking.

Nature healed us, and we felt a little happiness.

However, we couldn't live forever in the closed place where houses are fragile and water pools easily.

A friend who lived in the next town rented us a house, but we couldn't stay there forever, so we took what little money we had saved and moved into the rented house where we live now.

When I was feeling depressed about the loss of soil and fields,

my 17-year-old daughter encouraged me, saying,

"If you can grow plants in this concrete place and take videos, people will be happy to see them, it might become a job and open a path for you.

Then, my daughter used the money she had carefully saved to buy equipments and began to take videos of me.

My second daughter and I would like to do something we could do that would make people happy, so we worked hard at this house.

However, the time came when it became difficult for us to continue making videos as a job in our current rented house.

I've been using my savings for video production.

However, living in a town is expensive, and I had run out of my savings for buying a house in the country.

When I left my friend's house, I didn't have enough savings to buy a house, so I rented my current rented house.

When I shared the video on YouTube, I received a lot of very positive comments.

It is very encouraging and what you like our videos makes our life worth living.

We want to connect with many people by doing creative work that can pass on inspiration to others.

But we are stuck for lack of money.

If we can live in a house that is close to nature and where we can kitchen garden in the countryside, there are many things we can do.

We won't have to worry about rent, we will be able to kitchen garden, and we will be able to spend more time taking videos and editing.

We will be able to live in harmony with nature and share my life in videos.

If I can get help raising funds to buy the house that will be the foundation of my dream, and live in the house that will be the foundation, everything that we have fostered in the time we have spent with our second daughter will be rewarded!

Hi, I'm the second daughter of a videographer.

My mother has been making things since I was a little girl.

She made dolls, clothes, and wooden kitchens.

I grew up in the warmth of my mother's handmade environment.

When I did not fit in at school and chose to be homeschooled, my mother was criticized by those around her, saying that parents who do not send their children to school are not parents. (Because Japan is a country where rules take precedence).

But she supported me, saying that she wanted to respect the child's feelings.

My mother always worked hard on her own.

From a very young age, she had no support from her parents and no one to rely on.

In order to survive and have a better life, my mother worked very hard.

That's how my mother lived her life.

At that time, I had no time to think about dreams.

My life until I had a dream…How long it took for my dream to come true....

When a person who has overcome many difficulties realizes his or her dream, there is a sense of excitement and joy.

And my dream is to share that joy and happiness through the images I shoot!

Because I think it will be useful to someone else.

My mother has always overcome difficulties on her own. It's normal for her. So it took a lot of courage for her to participate in this crowdfunding project.

I would be very happy if my mother could take a big step toward her dream with the help of so many people.

Message from the eldest daughter

Hi, I'm an 26-year-old unmarried single mother.

My 6-year-old daughter is always close to her mother and sister, watching their creative work.

I think my mother has a talent when it comes to making things and gardening with her unique sensibility.

The way she makes things by hand, whether it is something we need or just a little something fun, not only for my daughter but also for me, teaches me how to spend a rich time.

When I had to give birth and take care of my child without a partner, my mother gave me her full support.

My mother spent her entire life supporting my sister, me and my daughter, so she didn't have time to save money for a ideal life.

If I don't get enough support, I will have to start working more part time and start focusing on making money.

It is a shame that I will have less time for the video production because of financial reasons.

自然との調和の中で生きていきたい

私たちの夢を実現するための土台となる家を購入するために、皆様のお力をお借りしたいです。

私は日本に住んでいるシングルマザー49歳です。

長女と長女の娘、次女と犬1匹で暮しています。

私と次女は共通の夢があります。

自然と調和した暮らしをして、その喜びを人にシェアすることです。

私も次女も自然が好きです。自然があれば安心できて、恵みがあって、クリエイティブな活動が出来ます。

私たちは自然の中で創作活動を取り入れる暮らしが好きです。

植物を植えたり、物を作ったりです。

私たちは夢の土台となる自然が近くの家に住み、夢を形にしていきたいです。

去年1年間は、今住んでいる借家で出来る限りのDIYをして小さなコンクリートのスペースで植物を植え、

その様子を17歳の次女がビデオカメラマンになり撮影していました。

私たちは以前は自然が周りにある場所で暮らしていました。

北国の田舎の小さな古い家(土地は借地)を買い、お金をあまりかけずに暮らしました。

私はシングルマザーでお金もなく、次女は6歳の時からホームスクールを選んでいました。

次女と一緒に春には山菜を採り、秋なると辺りから胡桃や栗を拾いました。

畑で作物を育て、家のDIYをしたり、木を切って割り、ストーブ用の薪を作りました。

山葡萄の蔓や、白樺の枝など辺りにある木工が出来そうな可愛い素材を探していました。

自然は私たちを癒してくれ、私たちはささやかに幸せでした。

ただ、家が壊れやすかったり、水の溜まりやすい閉ざされた場所で、ずっと暮らすことは出来ませんでした。

隣町に住む友人が家を貸してくれましたが、いつまでもいるわけにも行かないと、少し貯まったお金で今住んでいる借家に移ったのです。

私が土や畑もなくなり落ち込んでいると、

17歳の娘が「このコンクリートの場所で植物を育てて動画で撮影したら、それを見た人が喜んでくれたら、それが仕事になって道が開けるかもしれない」と励ましてくれました。

そして娘は自分で大事に貯めていたお金で機材を買って、私を撮影するようになったのです。

私と次女は自分が出来ることで人に喜んでもらえる仕事がしたいと思い、この家で出来る事に励んでいました。

けれど、今の借家でこのまま動画制作を仕事として続けるのは厳しい状況が来てしまいました。

貯金を切り崩して制作活動をしていましたが、

町の暮らしは何かとお金がかかり、貯金も底をついてしまったのです。

でも、友人の家を出なければならなかった時、家を買うほどには貯金がなかったので、今の借家を借りたのです。

YouTubeで動画をシェアすると、とても嬉しいコメントをたくさんいただきました。

それはとても励みになり、喜んでもらえる事は生きがいになります。

私たちは人にインスピレーションを渡せるような、クリエイティブな仕事をして多くの人と繋がりたいです。

でも、お金がないために立ち往生しています。

自然が近い、田舎の畑が出来るような家に住めたら、出来る事がたくさん増えます。

畑も出来るようになり、

家賃に追われずに住み、撮影や編集にも時間を使うことが出来ます。

自然の中で調和して生きる事が出来て、その生活を動画でシェアする事が出来ます。

夢の土台となる家を買うための資金調達に協力してもらい、土台となる家に住むことができれば、次女と過ごした時間の中で育んできたものが報われます

こんにちは、ビデオカメラマンをしている次女です

私の母は、私が小さい頃から物作りをやっていました。

人形や洋服、木製のキッチンなどを作っていました。

そんな母の手作りの温もりの中で、私は育ちました

私が学校に合わずホームスクールを選んだ時、母は、学校に行かせない親は

親じゃないと周りから批判されました。(日本はルールに厳しい国なのです)

でも、「子どもの気持ちを尊重したい」と私を応援してくれました。

母はいつも一生懸命一人で頑張っていました。

幼い頃から親からの援助も無く、頼れる人もいませんでした。

若いうちから生きるために働いて、今より少しでも楽になるために頑張る。

母はそうして生きてきました。

その頃、母は夢なんて考える暇さえありませんでした。

夢を持つまでにかけた人生…夢が叶うまでの時間…

苦難を乗り越えて来た人の夢が叶った時、そこには感動と喜びがあると思います。

母は自分が大変な時いつも自分の力で乗り越えてきました。それが当たり前でした。

こんにちは、わたしは未婚のシングルマザーで26歳です。

6歳の娘は、母と妹がしているクリエイティブな仕事をいつも間近で見ています。

わたしは母が独自の感性で物作りやガーデニングをする時彼女の才能を感じます。

自分達に必要なものやほんのちょっとした楽しみを手作りする姿は

娘だけでなく私自身にも、豊かな時間の過ごし方を教えてくれます。

私がパートナー無しで出産や育児をしなければならなかった時、

母は全面的にサポートをしてくれました。

母は人生を通して妹のサポートや私と私の娘のサポートに時間を費やしていたので、

理想の暮らしに近づくための貯蓄をする暇がありませんでした。

支援が集まらなければもっとパートに出て、お金を稼ぐ事に集中する日々を始めなければなりません。

金銭的なことが理由で、動画制作自体の時間が少なくなるのはとてももったいなく、残念で仕方ありません。

田舎の畑ができる空き家に移動できれば、

家賃や生活費に追われず動画制作に集中することができます。

17歳の妹も、動画制作を通して身近な自然の美しさや手作りする事への情熱を見出していて、

わたしは彼女もこのまま才能を存分に使える環境に身を置かせてあげたいです。
