Above is a picture of my mom taken on her 39th birthday, and she's going to turn 40 next year. Surprising right? She looks like she's in her late twenties. My mom got divorced with my dad about three months ago because he was having an affair. We went through some financial issues including paying for my little sisters and brother's tuition and bills. She's been really strong for working two jobs, both as a call center agent and as a freelancer in the makeup industry And while she is always making sure that we have enough food to eat, it really makes you feel bad when you see your mom sacrificing her own health for the sake of her kids. She used to barely sleep and eat, but I helped with some of the bills by working as an online virtual assistant. While that helped us a lot, I really want to give her the stress-free life she deserves. Or at least help her take a short break from it. I saw this website when my old teacher (who is now retired) started a campaign for her daughter's surgery. I thought that I could use this as a way to help my mom and make her life easier, and maybe donate to the campaign my old teacher set up. There's just so much things I want to help with that I can't do alone. I would appreciate anything. Any amount. I want to make a difference and help my mom. I don't want her to struggle and face this alone, and I want to show her that I am there for her as much as she is for us. Any support would mean so much to our family.
