I want continue to study to become luthier

hi everyone.

I’m students of restoration school of instruments in Italy, my dream is become luthier (violin maker)

Why came in Italy?

When I though my feature, I knew this work luthier. When I was child, I like music and I like make something with my hand, that was all. But I change idea. To know this work, I visited laboratory to ask what luthier how do work what they need etc… ,I can’t choose other works and I thought I want become a luthier . At first I thought where I learn Violin making, and I searched some country some school. I choose in Italy because there are many laboratory and near by student , more than anything there are luthiers that I want learn. Then after I graduated school in Japan, I came in Italy to go to violin making school 5 years, and I graduated violin making school.

But I didn’t learn how to do restoration, then I continue to study in Italy.

Why continue to study?

I study to learn how to restoration of instruments. I think to understand the instrument, I need it. And when some player will ask us to restoration, if I don’t know it I can’t help players. It is no specialist working. And there are some methods of restoration, I need master the technique to do restoration for each instrument. Then I can’t stop studying.

Why I need your help?

Before Covid-19, I worked during summer vacation to earn in Japan and my mother help me. But now, I can’t work and find the work, it’s difficult to continue learning. Others parents can’t help me, then i thought I come back in Japan. But I don’t want give up halfway. Then I ask your help.

What I use your help?

I use to pay tuition of school, to buy the tools for restoration and making instruments, to buy woods for restoration and making instruments, and cost of living.

My dream

I’ll become specialists and I want make good instruments, I am near the players. And I’ll make instrument that remain the future.

For the reason too, I can’t give up.
