I’ve Fallen and I Can’t Get Up

Hi! My name is Jordan, and I want to tell you about my grandma, Rockum. Rockum lives with her cat in the house she raised her children in. After her second marriage ended during her 30s, she decided to become a self-reliant, independent woman for the first time in her life. Rockum currently lives by herself, and her closest offspring lives in Texas. 

This weekend, Rockum fell down after a church meeting and broke her arm. Rockum has been cleaning houses for a living, and she confided in me that she isn't sure how she can afford to live without an income for the next 8 weeks. She needs about $750 to make ends meet for the next two months.
