I Value Family (IVF)… So Does He! =)

As our title says, we value family... and would love to start our own. Almost 10 years ago now, we married.  And since then, we have hit many bumps in the road... but no bumps in the belly.  We have been lucky enough to be blessed with close friends and family that have closely included us in the lives of their children.   But, we have been unable to conceive.  Fortunately, we do know the cause, which many couples are not lucky enough to know.  I have been diagnosed with Endometriosis.  This, in itself, is a painful disease. Sparing the aweful details of the illness, I will explain that one of the side effects is infertility.  Low blow #1. Then, I was lucky enough to be diagnosed with PCOS (poly cystic ovary syndrome).  Again, sparing the gory details, I will just explain that this disease also brings it's own set of pains and side effects... once again with infertility being at the top of the list. Low blow #2.   Long story short, medical intervention is our only way.  We have about $5,000 of the $20,000 needed. I have donated to other causes in the past, but it is me this time asking for help.
