Welcome to my personal mission in rural Kenya,

November 2018 will be my third trip to rural Kenya, where I personally distribute clean safe birth kits to pregnant women in the village. I will also be assisting births at the rural clinic to ensure women have a fair chance at medical care during labor.

I am a certified doula, the owner of Yoga Birthing Prenatal Centre and the founder/author of The Yoga Birth Method - A Step by Step Guide to Childbirth, training birth instructors worldwide.

Maternal mortality and morbidity in developing nations is my passion. Why? It's a LOUD calling of my soul. Developing nations such as rural villages in Africa have NO schools, there are NO hopitals, there are NO jobs, sometimes there is NO Food or access to water. I HAVE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Politics, corruption and ignorance isolates the poor from the rich. There is a huge divide that can only be helped with people like me physically going there to make a difference. But, I can't make the quality of lives better without your financial support.

Picture getting up every single day of your life and not being able to: take a shower. run the water to make a cup of coffee. You do not have a fridge because you do not have access to electricity. you do not have a car because you don't even have a road near you. you have never learned how to read because you have NEVER seen a book. you do not know about education because there is no such thing as a school.

THEY DO NOT CHOSE THIS. THE BABIES THAT SURVIVE ARE THE LUCKY ONES THAT MADE IT THROUGH CHILDBIRTH AND NOW MUST TAKE THE NEXT CHALLENGE AND SURVIVE THEIR ENVIRONMENT.

Can you imagine not having all the luxuries you do today? and trust me, I know it may not be enough for you and you may want to accomplish higher goals, make more money, have nicer things. And, you should! You live in North America, the sky is the limit.

I can't even ask you to try to imagine what life is like for women and children in nations that do not value their existence. Why should you, it's not your problem. It isn't my problem either but by choice it has become an overwhelming passion in my life. To find a way to give back to this world and make the tiniest effort to create equality. I appreciate all my opportunities and resources and all I can do is throw it out there to you and HOPE it moves you the slightest bit to help me in some way to donate minimum of $10 or even $100 or maybe more? or please just pass this page on to someone else who can help. I know I probably can't balance equality in this world alone, but I will try to! I will start by appealing to people like you. Maybe you think the problems of the world are too big for you too. But together, right here, we can tackle one issue and build a huge resource for change. All funds are used for birth kits, medical supplies, school supplies and sustainable resource projects.

My passion is to face maternal mortality in developing nations. Here in North America, woman do not fear of death as a childbirth complication. They don't have to with access to doctors and hospitals. But in Africa 1 in 5 women die in childbirth. One woman every 90 seconds. This can be reduced. How? by giving women clean birth kits. This kits are readily available we just need the funds to get them out into rural villages. Each kit cost on average $10 to make and can be delivered through volunteer work. I personally can get these kits to as many women in Africa as I can. All I need is for you to donate. These kits contain 6 essential things to save a mother and child from deadly infections and hemorrhage. The kit is as small as a deck of cards. Every $10 you donate will help save one mother and one child. They don't need to walk 3-10 hours to a medical facility that is unreachable, or find a doctor that does not exist to help them. They just need access to this kit.
