I need operation

Hello my name is Daniel Dooley I’m reaching out for help. I was hit by a drunk driver in 1979 on my Harley. I was enjoying the summer before college, His license was suspended in 1959 the year I was born for Drunk Driving. The car he hit me with he had only made 1 payment and they were looking for it to repo. He worked from one gas station to the next make a check and then go on a drunk again. He lived with his mom at age 43 .He had no money or insurance he got 120 days in jail and I spent 3 yrs of my life and had to have 19 surgeries to fix my legs. I was only 19. It basically took my left foot off and crushed the rest of my leg. I have steel plates in my upper left thigh and they took half of my lower right leg and attached it to my left leg to fix it. My left leg is know 2 inches shorter then my right and unable to move my ankle because of it. I learned how to walk again with 5yrs of P.T but did not have the $ for the expensive build up shoe like a needed and couldn’t afford and know how curvature of the spine. Then I fell and broke my left knee and had to have it fixed and now have to get corazone shots every 3 months but they want to stop them i have no cartridge left in either of my knees now and have a possibly of loosing my left leg because of the bad circulation. I fell and broke my left hip and having trouble with it now. but that’s another surgery i`ll need at a latter date They want to try to replace my knee caps 1st. but there is a possibility of me loosing my left leg if it gets infected due to the bad circulation..

I filled for disability in 1979 and since I hadn’t been able to work much I received 500.00 a month. It has slowly increased to 748. ( yearly raise `s) now. My wife filed for disability also due to all her medical problems. We are finding it very difficult to make things meet and dont know how we are going to afford this surgery also. Of course there is always more month then there is money. Chasing disconnects month to month. We also have a 2 boy`s 13 yr old and 15 yr old.
