I’m turning 29 and my life isn’t mine

God has given me everything I need. A warm house, loving spouse, amazing children, food to eat, clothes to wear, and money to pay for it all… Again this year, I want to use my birthday to spread the love of God to others. Will you help me? The youth of my church, Heartland Community Church in Lafayette, Indiana, are about to participate in their 4th annual mission trip here in Lafayette! My church’s youth have impacted their congregation and community in several ways. They have helped out Food Finder’s Food Bank, done several different 'Random Acts of Kindness', The Mobile Pantry (Tippecanoe and White), Habitat for Humanity, helped at our childcare ministry at the church, helped out at local nursing homes, helped at Trinity Mission, and mowed lawns for the elderly at our church. This year they plan to do a lot of the same. They have truly been the hands and feet of Jesus in our community and have touched so many lives. So much so that Lafayette Community Church, Christ United Methodist, Clark's Hill Christian Church, and Battleground United Methodist Church (3 more churches than last year!),  have gotten on board to help out at Mission Lafayette this year! This is where I saw a need! With the added youth and volunteers again this year (in partnering with other churches - there will be about 60 or 70 this year! EEK!), there has to be more transportation available to get the kids and adults to and from the several mission opportunities there will be! I want to help. Therefore, I am asking that for my 29th birthday, my friends and family help to fund their need for a few 15 passenger vans..the more space there is the more youth we have to impact the community at the different events! Like I said above, I have everything I need. I’ve reached a point in my life where I’ve realized it’s not about me and I want to give back.. Please help me in doing so?
