I love Physics but can’t afford studying it

I have been in love with Science ever since I can remember. I decided I wanted to be a Cosmologist when I was 11. I did my Bachelor's Degree in Physics in Braga, Portugal and I was the best student of my class every single year. But that was just General Physics and Cosmology was what I really wanted... so I decided to exit my country and go to a place where I can learn from the best.

First I needed money, so I worked for a year as a Physics researcher at my University and then came to Amsterdam, to do my MSc in Physics and Astronomy: Gravitation, Astroparticles and Astrophysics. My new university (University of Amsterdam) is everything I hoped it would be and more. My teachers are incredible, my colleagues are all super nice and friendly, the facilities are out of this world (especially coming from a small town!) and the city is my favorite in the world.

But... affording to live here is really hard. The money I saved over the course of a whole year working in Portugal is enough only for 2 months here. I'm trying to find a job but I have been having a lot of problems with job offers that never came to fruition and so the money I brought with me to get me started is quickly running out... I don't have enough money to pay my rent for this month and I will probably be kicked out by the end of October. I've applied to all sorts of government programs (rent allowance, tuiton fee loan, etc) but all these processes take a while and I'm afraid I won't be around when they finally kick in.

I came here, got a glimpse of what my life could have been if I wasn't poor and now, if nothing comes my way, I'll have to go back to Portugal and figure out what to do with my life...

I don't need infinite money to afford all my stay here, just enough to get me through the next month so that I can find a job and stabilize my life...

I see a great future for myself, I am a 21 year guy that already has a published scientific paper, already gave a talk at a scientific conference (and got awarded for it) and now I see everything crumbling around me and the incredible future I envisioned for me disappearing in front of my eyes...

So please, I beg for your help... I don't have any way of repaying you but I promise that if I am successful I will make sure that everyone knows that was because of people like you and projects like gogetfunding.
