Campaign Story
On May 23rd at 7 pm (Japan Standard Time), GAJET will hold its annual charity event, I Can Japan, online via Facebook Live. We will raise money for Komochiyama Gakuen, a local foster home in Shibukawa.
We
at GAJET recognize the importance of community, family, and the need to
feel welcome, especially when it comes to children. By donating to
I Can Japan, you will help these children continue to grow and learn in a healthy, safe, and welcoming environment.
To make this possible, we need your help! We have committed ourselves to raising ¥100000
for Komochiyama Gakuen and we are asking you to consider giving a gift
of
¥1000, ¥2500, or even ¥5000.
All funds raised will go directly to support the orphaned and
disadvantaged children cared for by the home and go towards their daily
necessities.
GAJET is The Gunma Association for Japan Exchange and Teaching,
a non-profit, volunteer association of foreign English teachers on the JET Program.
