A] Specifc Campaign Target:

Raise funds for Tselahale (also known as Saloomi) who is a survivor of abuse and is now in need of assistance to become more free in her mobility, with an electric wheel chair due to being paralysed. Saloomi was shot by a former partner when she tried to free herself from a life of violence and abuse. Please help us here at the HWK Foundaton, to help Saloomi live a better quality life and also help her, help others in the fight against violence and abuse. Help the Helping With Kindness Foundation raise funds to the support and growth of the impoverished people of Johannesburg. This organisation was founded by 3 friends, sharing similar values, looking to make a positive difference in response to the serious plight of those less fortunate by providing food, clothing, blankets, other practical assistance and basic kindness to women, men and children in need.

Started at the beginning of 2019, with what was a once off gesture with 6 sandwiches, has now grown to be an official weekly initiative that now feeds 90+ people every weekend with not merely a meal but water and other items that have been raised with the assistance of our fellow South Africans. Additionally, HWK has inspired others in other cities to start helping with kindness which is tremendous as together we can make someones’ life better, even if it is just a meal.

HWK’s visionary journey is to create a Center that offers food, shelter and development capabililities to those in need.

As part of the 1st phase, the aim to provide meals, clothes, etc, and expand our reach.

The 2nd phase is to provide meals and a daily temporary shelter that offers Bed, Shower and a Meal (BSM) for those who need help for the night.

The 3rd Phase of the center would be more of a semi-permanent facility, aiming to provide a Learning and Development Center (LDC) via multiple platforms to transcend circumstances through education.

HWK believes that working together with the less fortunate by empowering them with knowledge, skills and responsibility in support of their vision is paramount to making a significant positive difference and as a wise person once said, “...leave this world a little better than we found it”.
