About 6 months ago, when I had just delivered my second baby an opportunity arose, my husband Jerlin Johny got a job in Singapore. Since I dint want to stay away from him at this stage, we decided to sell off everything that we owned in India and moved base to Singapore so that we could live decently from the beginning.

The Singaporean company said, only after Jerlin’s visa was approved we would start receiving his salary. It wasn’t a problem because they said they would compensate his salary as soon as the procedure was done. So we continued living on the money we had brought from India.

After 3 months we found out the reason that was acting as a hurdle in the procedure. Jerlin’s medical wasn’t getting cleared. We had almost exhausted our finances by now, we decided to come back to India and get his treatment done. Luckily his office agreed to grant us leave. When we came back to India 2 months ago, we realised that he was critically ill.

My Husband Jerlin Johny 37 years old has been detected with Liver Cirrhosis at a serious and critical stage. Cirrhosis has caused an infection of TB in the ascitic fluid. We have been in the hospital for more than 2 months now and soon have to do a transplant on him as this case has been termed as "Child C" by the Doctors here at Medical trust hospital in Cochin, Kerala India.

Only after the infection comes down, the doctors will go ahead with his transplant. While the infection persists, the transplant cannot be done for he may not make it through or if with a slim chance he does, he will definitely slip into coma. But till then we live in a massive fear that his liver could just give up.

My daughter Nenita (6 years), Son Liam (8 months) and I are completely dependent on Jerlin. He is the backbone of our house. I secretly also fear on how will I raise INR 20 lakhs for this transplant. I request you’ll to generously donate as much as you can and please help me. I request you’ll to keep us in your prayers as we need all the blessings.

I also pray that no one goes through such testing times. It is like living hell, I have only been running to and fro managing the kids, the younger one is still on feed and taking care of my husband too.

Thanking each one of you in advance!!!

God Bless you all...
